VEHICLE FITTER’S REQUIRED

  • (Contract/Self-Employed/Part-time options considered)

  • £30k OTE per annum  

  • 28 DAYS LEAVE (Inc PH)

  • CWMBRAN, WALES  and WOLVERHAMPTON

THE JOB

We require a hands-on fitter with experience in fitting a wide range of accessories to vans and light commercial vehicles.  Experience in fitting all or most of the following is essential: 

  • Parking Cameras 

  • Roof Racks and Other Racks 

  • Ply Lining 

  • Tow bars   

  • Access Ramps

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lining and fitting accessories to vehicles, meeting exact specifications. 

  • Checking vehicles for damage before and after work is carried out.  

  • Recording processes at each stage of the fitment, and checking work is carried out to the highest standards.  

  • Keeping your work space and van tidy and safe at all times.  

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record of commercial vehicle ply lining and accessory fitting.  

  • Full UK driving licence required (held for a minimum of one year).  

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team environment.  

  • Be able to provide service using your own initiative to achieve the required specification within agreed timescales.  

  • Good communication skills.  

  • Strong practical working skills with experience in electronic vehicle systems.  

  • A self-motivated and organised approach.  

  • Ability to listen and follow instructions and recommendations. 

HOURS OF WORK

Monday to Friday

8.00am to 5.00pm (45 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch)
